New Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal Drops the Reorg Hammer

By Brad Pareso

It didn’t take long for new Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal to exert his influence on the company, as a major reorganization was revealed Friday in an email to employees and a Form 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. (Adweek)

The shake-up, meant to streamline the company’s operations and accelerate its growth, will bring together employees previously divided by job function—such as engineering, design and product development—on teams organized by what they’re working on, such as consumer product, revenue and core tech. Agrawal has shifted the company’s hierarchy around three people: Kayvon Beykpour, Bruce Falck and Nick Caldwell, according to a new SEC filing. Beykpour will be responsible for constructing the consumer-facing features, while Falck and Caldwell respectively manage the sales and engineering teams. (Forbes)

Lindsey Iannucci, senior director of strategy and operations, was also elevated to chief of staff and vice president of operations to support Agrawal. (CNBC)
