National Geographic Partners Unveils Execs, Courteney Monroe to Run Networks

The new National Geographic Partners, announced in September when 21st Century Fox said it will pay $725 million in cash and equity to control The National Geographic Society’s other media assets in addition to its cable channels, now has a senior leadership team under CEO Declan Moore as the deal has closed. Courteney Monroe has been promoted to lead National Geographic channels worldwide as part of the management restructuring. Monroe had been CEO of National Geographic Channels U.S. In her new role as CEO of National Geographic Global Networks, she will oversee programming, marketing and operations for all Nat Geo-branded channels around the world as well as the National Geographic Studios production arm.
