By Christine Zosche

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association and Dick Clark Productions announced Tuesday that they will officially partner with Facebook for this year’s Golden Globes, offering an exclusive livestream of the red carpet via the social media outlet. (THR)

Twitter had the exclusive red-carpet treatment last year. Hosts for the Golden Globes pre-show on Facebook are slated to include AJ Gibson, Jeannie Mai, Scott Mantz and Laura Marano. As part of the partnership, 360-degree videos will be captured from the red carpet and throughout the pre-show, and distributed on the Golden Globes’ Facebook page. (Variety)

The two-hour event would be exclusively available on the Golden Globes Facebook page from 6 to 8 p.m. ET (3 to 5 p.m. PT) on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018. (TechCrunch)
