Gawker Publishes Donald Trump’s Cell Phone Number

Gawker has published Donald Trump’s cell phone number, telling readers to “ask him about his important ideas.” Trump famously released Senator Lindsey Graham’s number at a campaign rally last month, asking the audience to go ahead and call him. “In the spirit of open and fair political debate, we now bring you Trump’s number,” writes Gawker author Sam Biddle. The stunt comes weeks after Trump responded to criticism from Graham by sharing his personal cell phone number. Graham brushed off the insult, and even created a humorous video with IJReview showing him destroying his cell phone. (Mediaite)

Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was not aware of the post when reached for comment, but said the number the website published is “not the number I use when I call him, so I don’t know where that number goes.” The campaign later put out a statement saying “It’s a very old number. This is not one he uses. Mr. Trump has several numbers so this is not an issue.” (WMTW / CNN)
