First it was Turner Sports, then Fox Sports and now it’s ESPN’s turn. Sports media is betting big on sports gambling. ESPN announced on Tuesday that it is partnering with Caesars Entertainment to build a new ESPN-branded studio at its LINQ Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. (CNN Business)

An ESPN studio for producing sports-betting news and entertainment segments will be built at the LINQ Hotel and Casino, one of Caesars’ Las Vegas properties. The studio will begin operating next year and produce content for shows including a new ESPNews show, “Daily Wager.” (WSJ)

The betting space has seen a rush of interest since the Supreme Court struck down a federal ban on sports betting. So far, seven states have legalized sports betting with about two dozen more expected to do so soon. And Turner-owned Bleacher Report already has a studio inside the sportsbook at Caesars Palace.
