‘Campaign’ Carl Cameron Promotes New Progressive Media Venture, Takes Shots at Old Employer

By Christine Zosche

Former Fox News chief political correspondent Carl Cameron doesn’t seem to be a fan of his old employer. In a promotional video for a new left-leaning media venture, Front Page Live, Cameron explained why he joined Fox News in the first place, and what made him leave the network. (TVNewser)

“The idea of fair and balanced news appealed to me,” Cameron said. “But over the years, the right-wing hosts drowned out straight journalism with partisan misinformation. I left.” (Mediaite)

Cameron is teaming up with Joseph Romm, an author and reporter on climate science and climate policy at ThinkProgress, an “editorially independent” arm of the Center for American Progress Action Fund. (WaPo)
