With seemingly little to lose, former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro—the lowest polling candidate on stage—delivered some of the sharpest blows at Biden, criticizing his frequent attempts to tie himself to former President Barack Obama. (Politico)

Castro at one point asked, “Are you forgetting already what you said two minutes ago?!” Castro spoke with CNN’s Chris Cuomo after getting criticism from some pundits and even a few other candidates for going too far. Castro stood by the exchange and said he was calling out a discrepancy from the former veep on his health care plan. (Mediaite)

Sen. Cory Booker lobbed a fierce, post-debate attack against Biden on Thursday evening, questioning the former vice president’s ability to “carry the ball” and saying other candidates had “legitimate concerns” if the former vice president would be up for a long fight for the White House.
