Google/YouTube’s Lead Creative for Ad Programs Jeben Berg has take the lead social media gig at Mekanism, the agency tells us.
Berg was part of the team that developed YouTube’s advertising platform as a means for communication with consumers. His focus was on targeting demos through “strategic social media initiatives”. Recent projects include collaboration on Pepsi Refresh piece where people across the world came together to make a music video. Will.I.Am., the ultimate music sell-out, was also involved.
The gist of the job: “In his new role, Berg will strive to connect consumers to the brand through various forms of social media and networking.”
Berg’s prior experience includes stays as an emerging media creative strategist at DraftFCB, media direction at Rocketshop and media planner at Publicis Dialog.
