Yes, Lemonade Looks “Stunning”

By Matt Van Hoven

A week ago today we posted a story about Lemonade, Erik Proulx’s documentary about laid-off ad folks who’ve done other things with their lives since losing their advertising gigs.

You all loved this trailer, for the most part. Some noted that Proulx should have done more to highlight the dark, drab stories. We asked him about this and reminded us that the trailer is, well, a trailer. He told me about 75% of the movie will cover the “bad” his subjects endured.

So why am I writing this post? Because we’ve received tons of tips “alerting” us to the trailer. No big deal, we’re glad you’re writing in, to be sure. But apparently some of you missed last week’s story (it’s summer, after all), and our interview with Proulx on The Menu (re-posted to the left). Given that so many folks have written in it’s safe to assume there are a number of you who never saw the trailer to begin with. It’s worth a second look, so click away. It’s Friday.

Click here for more info on the movie, and here for Proulx’s Web site PleaseFeedTheAnimals which sort of started it all.
