Yahoo Hands Media Duties to MediaVest

Two months after launching a global media review of its traditional and digital media buying/planning duties, a Yahoo spokesman has confirmed to AgencySpy that U.S. duties for both have been handed to MediaVest. The media responsibilities were previously split between WPP shops Mindshare, which handled traditional while Neo@Ogilvy took on digital. Yahoo wouldn’t comment on who else was involved in the pitch.

According to reports, Yahoo spent $45 million on measured media in the U.S. last year.
