Wongdoody Expands Executive Leadership in L.A. With 2 Hires

Wongdoody, the creative shop recently bought by information technology company Infosys, has announced two new executive hires in its Los Angeles office. Josh Mooney comes aboard as executive director of business development and Matteo J. Mosterts, executive producer.

Mooney comes to Wongdoody from creative agency Leviathan, where he was vice president of client solutions. Since 2014, he had worked with clients GM, Subaru, Audi, McDonald’s and Verizon to help them foster “powerful customer experience” across engaging “cinematic content, transformative architecture, reactive surfaces, mobile applications and virtual/augmented/mixed reality,” according to Wongdoody.

“I’m excited for the opportunity and the challenge of working with both Wongdoody and Infosys, helping each team find the best ways to impact their clients’ businesses and shift the way the industry works,” Mooney, who also spent 11 years as the CMO of design shop Juxt Interactive, said in a statement.

Mosterts’ career spans agency stints at Omelet, Innocean and MullenLowe, where he’s produced broadcast and integrated content for global brands such as Microsoft, Hyundai, Ubisoft, AT&T and Walmart.

He said in a statement that “two things” made him want to make the jump to Wongdoody: “the people and the opportunity to shape the company‚Äôs outlook on production.”

“Wongdoody’s disruptive culture¬†resonated with me, and as a producer and a filmmaker, I see a chance to foster a maker-minded creative environment aimed at finding ways to bring great ideas to life,” Mosterts added.

Wongdoody president Skyler Mattson noted, “We’re lucky to bring in two people who naturally fit with both our culture and our needs.”
