Word has been coming in through the Spy line that Philly-based auto parts chain Pep Boys has ended its agency partnership with Fort Lauderdale-based Zimmerman. When reached, the agency would only offer a “no comment” on the matter and Pep Boys has yet to respond to our inquiries. Zimmerman picked up advertising duties for the retailer following a review nearly four-and-a-half years ago. In the past, the 90-year-old Pep Boys has worked with the likes of Richards Group and what is now Publicis Kaplan Thaler. We’ll keep you posted if and when we hear more.
