-Apple promotes its HomePod speaker with an intricately choreographed “Welcome Home” spot directed by Spike Jonze, starring FKA twigs and set to the new Anderson .Paak song “‘Til It’s Over” (video above).

-Marriott International concluded its global media review by sending its account to Publicis, which will create a dedicated Marriott One Media unit from its SapientRazorfish and Spark Foundry agencies.

-AB InBev unveiled a new Michelob Ultra Pure Gold brand, touting organic grains and brand ambassador Kelly Slater. Laundry Service will handle the brand’s first campaign.

-You & Mr. Jones, a group founded by former Havas Worldwide CEO David Jones, acquired agency Gravity Road, which will expand to the U.S. as part of the deal.

Marc Pritchard says the amount of digital waste cut by P&G will soon reach 50%.

-Look out, Wendy’s: McDonald’s is planning to go fresh with its beef (and back the move with plenty of marketing).

-Brew Dog is highlighting the gender pay gap with its ironically branded Pink IPA, intended to mock outdated gendered marketing. A portion of sales from the brand and flagship Punk IPA will be donated to the Women’s Engineering Society (WES).
