TracyLocke Names Craig Jenkins as Creative Director

By Erik Oster

TracyLocke Canada managing director Jason Dubroy announced today the appointment of Craig Jenkins as creative director.

Jenkins has been working with the agency as a freelance creative, along with the Toronto offices of TAXI, MacLaren Momentum and Capital C, since he left his position as creative director with Spider Marketing Solutions in May of 2011. His freelancing work included digital projects for Scotiabank and Nissan/Infiniti, OOH for PepsiCo U.S. and shopper marketing for TracyLocke clients such as SC Johnson, Energizer, Edgewell, PPG Architectural Coatings and Campbell’s Soup. While with Spider Marketing Solutions he focused on shopper marketing, social media, digital and creative for clients including Energizer, Harley-Davidson, Mattel and GSK. Prior to joining Spider Marketing Solutions he spent around three and half years with Ryan Partnership, serving as an associate creative director/senior art director, working with clients such as Heineken and Nestle Waters.

“Part creative, part strategist, Craig’s a double threat and arguably the best and most in-demand shopper marketing creative in Canada,” Dubroy said.  “He’s been freelancing with us for five years, so transitioning him to full-time is a natural progression of the working relationship.”

“TracyLocke is on a huge growth trajectory right now, and the chance to help guide and grow their practice full time, with a team whose work I respect, was an opportunity that I could not pass up,” added Jenkins.
