The Founder Turns 34, Buys Cane and Adult Diapers

By Matt Van Hoven

October 3rd is an important day an important day for Sarah Palin. Well, we can’t say if she’s familiar with its historic relevance, and in case you aren’t either, today is the day 230th anniversary of the discovery of Alaska by explorer Captain James Cook (see pictograph).

Today is also the day that President Abraham Lincoln named the fourth Thursday in November, ‘Thanksgiving’. At Stir, in Milwaukee, they celebrate ‘Captain Dan Turkey Day’.

But 34 years ago today (we can’t do the math on that…’74?) The Founder, who pens a mighty-good blog called Tribble Ad Agency, was born…hatched…spawned. You get the picture. Happy birthday, you young-old guy. He claims that 34 is old, but we submit that no one is as old as George Parker (Ed’s note: if you know how old George is, or are older than him, e-mail us at matt@mediabistro dot com). Happy oldness to you, Mr. Parker.
