Award shows are expected to employ risque advertising, right? How else can the shows get your attention, you who stare at mediocre work all day while your best ideas go unused. Well today’s award campaign has come full circle, with a series of three spots for the Roy Award Show.
The clip above, called “Hamster”, is maybe a favorite, if you can call it that. We see a hamster in his cage sapping on some delicious water from one of those water bottles with the metal spout on the end. Voice over voice over voice over and then someone pours (what looks like) vodka into the bottle.
Other executions of the campaign include lighting a stove beneath a fishbowl and dropping a bunch of Viagra into a cage containing two rabbits. Heh. Just waiting for Peta to call. Cuz, you know, messing with animals (or pretending to) shouldn’t be considered entertainment.
