Snacklish Is Under Attack

By SuperSpy

It seems that candy creative is under attack from all fronts. First, there was the Skittles debacle. Now, a rogue digi-shop has created a site for Snickers in direct response to the Snacklish campaign. If you head over to the Snacklish site, you’ll see a homepage complete with nonsensical sounds and visuals. Supposedly, you can learn to speak Snacklish – whatever that means. I have no idea, because I couldn’t figure out how to ya know – learn to speak Snacklish. Question to Snickers – how much did this nonfunctional, confusing, byzantine-like site cost you? Too much my friends. Too much.

Now, meet Snckrz! – the site made by the anonymous agency. Put any word into the blank bar and get a logo just like the one above complete with embed code. Ah. I get it! Snacklish! You can also see all the people who are currently making logos via Twitter, too. Pretty simple. And apparently, it took just three hours to make. How much did that cost? Close to nothing. And I used it. And other people are using it. Case closed.
