We’re ringing in the month of December with some shoutout to newly hired and promoted leaders at agencies around the world.

50,000feet

50,000feet welcomed two new members to its executive team. Doug Gallow was named managing director and Mark Smeraglinolo was named svp of finance.

The Ad Council named Corrina Greenberg as chief revenue and development officer. Greenberg will lead the council’s development team and fundraising efforts.

Adform

Adform named William Jones as senior director of advanced TV and omnichannel activation. Jones will work to scale the company’s growth and work to further expand its market.

Allison

Allison hired Ryan Hughes as account director for its global reputation risk and public affairs practice. Hughes’ team works to help clients build world-class reputational risk management capabilities and elevate client priorities across relevant markets.

Alloy Digital

Alloy Digital named Alex Destino as its new head of data strategy and insights. Destino brings almost 20 years of experience in data analytics, optimization and customer experience.

Bounteous

Bounteous made two additions to its executive leadership team. Mike Swartz was promoted to svp, business development (consumer) and Ronak Desai was promoted to svp, business development (finance).

Captify

Captify made two new appointments to its leadership team. James Jones was named chief marketing officer and John Piontkowski was named president of North America.

Charlieuniformtango

Charlieuniformtango appointed Alyson Griffith as head of sales. Griffith brings sales leadership experience on the agency and talent management sides.

Dentsu

Dentsu appointed Hamish Kinniburgh as global chief strategy and consultancy officer, media. Kinniburgh will work to elevate the strategic output of client teams worldwide.

EssenceMediacomX

EssenceMediacomX named David Wilding as its new chief strategy officer. Wilding will lead the agency’s long-term strategy and innovation schedule to power new data and insight-driven breakthroughs for clients.

Fort York VFX

Fort York VFX hired Jason Zukowski as senior colorist. Zukowski will work to launch the agency’s color grading services.

GSD&M

GSD&M named Lee Newman as president. Newman will lead the expansion of the agency’s integrated offering as well as its client base.

Hanson Dodge

Hanson Dodge welcomed Lauree Frachette as account director. Frachette will oversee the Green Gobbler and Potawatami accounts for the agency.

Leo Burnett U.K.

Leo Burnett U.K. promoted Mark Elwood to chief creative officer. Elwood has been running the agency’s creative department for three and a half years, overseeing client work for companies like McDonald’s, Morrisons, Kellogg’s, AXA, Premier Inn and Tui.

M&C Saatchi

M&C Saatchi named new leaders to its U.K. and European teams. Marcus Peffers was named U.K. group CEO, Carlo Noseda was named CEO of M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment and Richard Thompson was named chair of M&C Saatchi Sports & Entertainment Europe.

Method1 brought on two new leaders to its team. Allison Arling-Giorgi was named strategy director, including overseeing strategy for the Heaven Hill portfolio. Sarah Nayak will serve as the agency’s director of growth.

New Commercial Arts

New Commercial Arts appointed Imogen Turner as business development director. Turner will work to grow the agency’s clients and showcase market-leading work across communications and customer experience.

Nomad

Nomad named Dan Maloney as a partner. The award-winning editor is known for his eccentric comedic timing, including recent work for Kayak, Bijan Mustardson and Gaia Herbs.

O Positive

O Positive added Thaddeus McCants to its roster for commercial representation. McCants is a screenwriter, playwright, performer and director, and his first commercial was the 2022 “Coliseum Tailgate” Super Bowl spot for Avocados from Mexico.

Ogilvy Paris

Ogilvy Paris promoted Benjamin Bregeault to executive creative director. Bregeault will lead all advertising, public relations and influence activities.

Publicis Toronto

Publicis Toronto made three senior promotions to strengthen its creative team. Vini Dalvi was appointed as chief creative officer and Bobby Malhotra and Serene Gaspar were named co-managing directors of the office’s creative practice.

Sonic Union

Sonic Union welcomed Dean Metherell to its creative sound roster. Metherell has spent over 10 years working on ad campaigns, audiobooks, podcasts and TV series.

Sovrn

Sovrn hired Carla Holtze Cell as managing director of commerce. Cell will lead the setting of strategy and execution of a go-to-market plan for the agency’s suite of commerce products.

Specsavers

Specsavers made two additions to its senior team. Lisa Lomax was named marketing director and Philippa Middleton was named director of growth opportunities.

Spinnaker

Spinnaker is building its leadership team with two new recent appointments. Rebecca Cole was promoted to managing director and Robert Goldsmith was named CEO.

The Bloc

The Bloc appointed Stephanie Berman as global chief creative officer. This appointment marks a milestone in the agency’s strategic evolution as it works to create a unified and innovative creative vision.

Uncommon

Uncommon named two new leaders to its executive leadership team. James Guy was appointed as chief production officer and Charlie Gatsky Sinclair was appointed as president of brands and entertainment.

Wavemaker

Wavemaker named Chris Worsley as global performance lead. Worsley will lead the delivery of best-in-class performance strategy for the agency’s global clients.
