Agencies around the world have plenty to celebrate this Friday, with an impressive mix of new hires, promotions and retirements. Before you head off to your own weekend fun, check out who moved where in today’s roster updates.

72andSunny

72andSunny Los Angeles promoted Lauren C. Smith, who carries five years of experience at the agency working with clients like Google, Adidas and Adobe, to executive creative director. Smith recently was crucial in securing a client win with United Airlines, as well as building the team to manage the account. Her new position will be focused on creating and executing on the vision for the company’s future success.

AMV BBDO

AMV BBDO named Carmen Vasile as its new managing director at its London office. Vasile has been at AMV since 2007, becoming a key agency talent and leading Mars Petcare globally.

Her appointment comes at the end of a series of senior appointments, including the hiring of Sam Hawkey as CEO, Nick Hulley and Nadja Lossgott as chief creative officers and Michael Pring as chief operating officer.

BBH London

BBH London promoted Holly Ripper to managing director and Stephen Ledger-Lomas to chief production officer. The elevations come as part of a series of senior promotions to drive momentum at the agency.

Birth UK

Megan Leigh Wright is joining Birth UK as its new head of business, where she will work alongside agency partners to build the directors’ roster and create new opportunities for growth. Leigh Write joins with experience in past roles at Darling Films and Another Film Company.

Black Glass

Shauna Gleason joins Black Glass as its new director of marketing, content and communications, leading the agency’s brand strategy.

B-Reel New York

B-Reel agency group is growing its New York leadership team with two new additions to its leadership team. Joakim Saul is joining as executive creative director and Danielle Russo is joining as director of integrated production.

The appointments were made in response to new client wins including Afterpay and Brex.

Broadhead

Minnesota-based full-service marketing agency broadhead appointed Dan Mandle to its newly-created position of senior vice president, director of data sciences and analytics. The position was created in response to significant recent growth for broadhead—and will require Mandle to craft creative and outcome-oriented performance marketing programs for the agency and its clients.

Digital Brand Architects

Digital talent management company and UTA subsidiary Digital Brand Architects has promoted Ariana Pappas and Alix Frank to its new vice presidents of talent. Both Pappas and Frank joined the agency early on and have worked to change the landscape of the creator economy.

The two will continue managing their roster of clients, while focusing on growth for the teams that they oversee.

Exverus

Sean Edwards joined Exverus as its new associate director of programmatic. Edwards was previously at PHD Media, where he worked with clients including Porsche, RedBull and Oatly. At Exverus, Edwards will help lead clients’ programmatic media strategy, implementation and day-to-day execution.

FCB

FCB promoted Bella Patel and Mark Jungwirth to global leadership positions. Patel will serve as global chief talent officer and Jungwirth as global chief financial officer. Both have been with the agency for over 10 years and step into their new roles following planned successions by their predecessors.

GreenRubino

Marketing agency GreenRubino appointed Stacia Allen as its new chief client officer following the retirement of Cam Green as chief creative officer. Green passed his company shares to Allen, who now holds partner status at the agency. Green will continue to serve as a strategic advisor and maintain relationships with clients.

Luckie

Birmingham, Alabama-based marketing solutions firm Luckie named John Gardner as its new CEO, succeeding Tom Luckie, who is staying on as chairman of the board. Gardner joined the agency in 2011 and has served as president of Luckie since 2013, increasing its top-line revenue by 41% and making it one of the ten largest agencies in Atlanta.

Madwell

Micah Freedman is joining full-service creative and marketing agency Madwell as its new business director. Freedman will oversee new business strategy and activities, as well as establish new meaningful client partnerships.

MiQ

Global programmatic media partner MiQ has moved its co-founder and global CEO, Gurman Hundal, to its new position of global executive chairman. In turn, U.S. CEO Sean Reardon will take on the additional role of global CEO.

Hundal will focus in his new role to help the business driven sustainable growth vision through strategy and culture.

No Fixed Address

No Fixed Address hired duo Kelsey Horne and Alexis Bronstorph as its new chief creative officers. Both previously worked as CCOs at Taxi, working with clients including Audi, Volkswagen and United Way. The two made the switch to No Fixed Address to dive into the agency’s culture and build on the momentum it’s built over the last five years.

Ogilvy

Ogilvy Health bolstered its leadership team with two new appointments. Liz Kane was hired to lead the agency’s insights, brand and medical strategy offerings and Corina Kellam was promoted to lead the agency’s new experience and innovation team.

Both will join Ogilvy Health’s executive leadership board, led by CEO Kim Johnson.

Razorfish

Razorfish promoted Lisa Zandy, a 17-year industry veteran who’s worked with Samsung, AT&T and Sherwin-Williams, to executive vice president, managing director and west business lead role. The position focuses on expanding the agency’s growth in Seattle, San Luis Obispo, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

RSA Films

RSA Films signed award-winning director Douglas Avery for commercial representation in the U.S. and the U.K. Avery is known for his cinematic visuals and compelling storytelling, with previous clients including Gillette, Gatorade, Carhartt, Audi, FedEx and Lexus.

StrawberryFrog

Marketing and change management company Strawberry Frog announced the appointment of Shana Bellot and Dan Langlitz as co-managing directors. The two will work together to oversee business growth and maintain the company’s strategic, organizational and cultural vision.

Thinkingbox

Colin Greenberg and Satoru Inoue were both promoted to directors of production at Thinkingbox, with Greenberg in Salt Lake City and Inoue in Vancouver. Greenberg joined Thinkingbox a year ago after his time as head of production at Struck and Inoue has been at the agency since 2017, when he left his position as digital producer at Media.Monks.

Triptk

Havas’ global transformation studio Triptk appointed Lisa Marie Pillette as its fourth board member. Previously chief marketing officer for Casper, Pillete will counsel the studio’s executives on new business efforts and expansion, while strengthening the brand’s reputation alongside fellow board members.

Unfold

Digital creative agency Unfold brought on Todd Waldman as its new lead copywriter, coming from Warner Bros with an accomplished career in TV writing, copywriting and producing. Kristal Bailey, experienced in working with clients including Hulu, Starz and MGM accounts at Unfold, is joining as executive director of social.

VaynerMedia 

VaynerMedia London has appointed Allan Blair as the agency’s new head of strategy. Blair joins from his previous role as Engine Creative London’s head of strategy—and has 20+ years of experience in PR, brand communications and digital at DDB, Tribal Worldwide and J. Walter Thompson.

Blair will oversee the agency’s core accounts, including Durex, Tinder, TikTok, KraftHeinz and Natwest.

VMLY&R

Laura Mignott joined VMLY&R Commerce in a new role of global chief experiential officer, where she will work to redefine culturally relevant experiences and drive the future of hybrid community-driven engagement. Mignott was previously at DFlash as its CEO, working with clients like Spotify, Netflix and Amazon Goodreads.

Weber Shandwick

Weber Shandwick has appointed Ridhi Malhotra to global head of analytics and intelligence. Malhotra joins the firm from Publicis Media’s Zenith where she served as evp, overseeing the media agency’s analytics practice. In her new role, Malhotra has a remit to further embed analytics into the firm’s integrated client solutions on a global scale.
