Revolving Door Agency Moves: Myriad, Undnyable, Yonder Media & More

Spooky season has passed, we’re approaching the holidays and agencies are still operating in full swing. This week, we have a full roundup of acquisitions, rebrands and campaign launches to continue driving the industry forward.

Broadhead

Independent marketing agency broadhead acquired Minneapolis-based agency Fame in order to expand its experiential marketing capabilities. The acquisition comes amid a period of significant growth for broadhead, during which it also acquired Portland-based HMH Agency.

ClutchPoints

Sports media company ClutchPoints is forming a brand partnerships division to develop new lines of advertising revenue. Led by CRO Jeetu Chawla, the team will develop new lines of advertising revenue for the company and manage relationships with brands and agencies.

CMD

Integrated marketing agency CMD announced a strategic company repositioning that focuses on its evolving work across the enterprise, financial and technology verticals. In addition, the agency will also split off Hijinx, a consumer advertising and brand outfit focused on gaming, sports and lifestyle. The independent shop previously operated as a specialized group within CMD.

Epsilon

Epsilon, a global advertising and marketing technology company and part of Publicis Groupe has launched its Latin America operations with the acquisition of Retargetly, a data and technology company. The addition of Retargetly gives Epsilon the ability to deliver its industry-leading data, technology and media platforms across North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific and now, Latin America.

Girl Culture Films

Girl Culture Films is rebranding as Institute in order to broaden its directorial roster to be more inclusive of unrepresented talent, regardless of gender. The commercial production company is also broadening its services through a tighter integration with sister companies Institute Artist and Girl Culture Studios.

Lambert & 9th Wonder

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation is partnering with Lambert and 9th Wonder to market Michigan as the home for quality talent and opportunity. The MEDC has allocated $10 million to the project.

Mower

Mower was selected by the Arthritis Foundation to lead its 2023 awareness campaign, “We Journey Together.” Mower will lead in-depth market research, brand strategy, creative development, media planning and buying and public relations.

Myriad

Raleigh-based agency Myriad is now a certified B Corporation. The agency achieved this by meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability and transparency in areas like employee benefits, charitable giving, supply chain practices and input materials.

Talon America

Talon America was chosen by Krystal Restaurants as its out of home agency of record. Talon will utilize data-driven targeting and measurement capabilities to develop OOH campaigns that drive attention to Krystal Restaurants’ new menu options and reach its overall brand and growth goals.

Undnyable

Undnyable was chosen by Olympia Provisions to develop a brand campaign that raises awareness for its award-winning charcuterie making. The campaign follows Undnyable’s national campaign project with MOD Pizza earlier this year.

VMLY&R Commerce and Geometry Colombia

VMLY&R Commerce and Geometry Colombia won four golds at the Luum Awards, which recognizes creative ideas which respond to social, environmental and animal rights issues. The four golds awarded were for Partnerships to Achieve Goals – Effectiveness, Mental Health, Education & Awareness, Animal Health, Education & Awareness – Effectiveness and Covid: Awareness and Adaptation to a New Reality.

Yonder Media

Yonder Media was chosen by Alzheimer’s Research U.K. as its retained media planning and buying agency. Yonder will boost awareness and understanding of the charity’s work, while driving donations through supporter-led fundraising.
