Uber has awarded the majority of its global media account to Omnicom Media Group (OMG). The scope will cover media strategy, planning and buying for North America, EMEA and LATAM. The four-month pitch launched in June 2023 and included all the major holding groups and the leading independents. The business had been awarded to Mediacom in 2020 prior to its 2023 merger with sister Group M agency Essence.
