Razorfish Makes Pair of Senior Appointments

Razorfish made a pair of senior appointments, welcoming Mark Cibort as managing director of its Los Angeles office and Kevin Lane as vice president, strategy and planning. Both Cibort and Lane will report to Razorfish west region president Jennifer Friese.

Cibort arrives at the agency from Engine Group’s Deep Focus, where he spent a year serving as president of the agency’s newly-launched Los Angeles office. Before that he spent nearly two years serving as president, digital for Engine Group’s Trailer Park. That followed over three years at R/GA serving as vice president, managing director and then group managing director while working with clients including Johnson & Johnson, Unilever,  Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, McCormick and West Health. He originally joined R/GA’s production department as an executive producer back in April 2005 before being named group director, production nearly two years later and managing director, production two years after that. Prior to joining R/GA he spent four years with Ogilvy Interactive as partner, senior project manager and then director of project management. 

Lane joins Razorfish from TBWA\Designory, where he has served as chief strategy officer for nearly four years, following three years as senior vice president, group strategy director. While with TWBA\Designory, he helped lead the agency to account wins for Audi of America, Nissan Global and Infiniti Global, while overseeing global market growth for Subaru and expansion into specialty areas such as product, content, search and social marketing. He also currently serves on the executive boards of boutique media relations agency SRPR, as well as design and retail group Placeworks Projects. Before joining TBWA\Designory he spent three years as vice president, strategic planning at iCrossing.
