RAPP Hires Executive Producer as Part of Leadership Restructuring in New York

RAPP New York hired industry veteran Heather Salkin in the new role of svp, executive producer.

In the role, Salkin will serve as part of the office’s leadership team leading production efforts across all RAPP New York clients and report directly to RAPP U.S. CCO Moa Netto. According to a press release, Salkin’s hire is part of a shift to more of a “maker culture” for the New York office as it seeks to ramp up production capabilities.

“RAPP’s ability to deliver true value today to clients in disruptive categories, like healthcare and connected entertainment, lies in our deep understanding of technology. Focusing on how technology can enable great ideas and allow brands to reach consumers in new, meaningful ways, means we can deliver a whole new layer of relevancy to our creative work,” Netto said in a statement. “Heather’s appointment speaks directly to our vision for the New York office – a focus on ‘making.'”


“With a passion for building experiences and products at the intersection of art, storytelling and technology, Heather will be instrumental in bringing RAPP’s creative product to life moving forward,” added Justin Thomas-Copeland, who was recently succeeded as RAPP New York managing director by Shari Reichenberg as he moved into a new role within the Omnicom Precision Marketing Group network, 

Salkin arrives at RAPP following five years at Momentum, where she most recently served as svp, innovation for North America. During her tenure at Momentum, she produced work for clients including American Express, Amazon, American Express, Bentley, Coca-Cola, Bentley, Ferrari, Microsoft, Olay, Samsung and Verizon. Her prior agency experience includes stints at MRM/McCann, BBDO New York and FCB New York. During the course of her career she has received accolades including Clios, American Business Awards and an Adweek Project Isaac Gold Award.
