Phoenix Suns to Wear “Los Suns” Jerseys During Tonight’s Game

By Matt Van Hoven

In solidarity for immigrants in their home state and to make clear their position against the “flawed state law,” the Phoenix Suns will wear jerseys that read “Los Suns” in their playoff game tonight against the San Antonio Spurs. The jersey change is also to honor Cinco de Mayo, which celebrates the Mexican army’s victory over the French in 1862. Defeating the Spurs should be a much easier task. That pesky immigration bill? Not so much.
