“Ongoing layoffs at Ogilvy. It seems that a quiet layoff been happening where numbers of people are being laid off weekly. I know a couple personally. too much to be a coincidence. I wonder whats happening. Haven’t heard about new biz either.”
In all fairness to Ogilvy there was a new business win for the company earlier in the year with Ikea. And they recently won Best in Show at the ACE Awards for an integrated marketing campaign created for IBM. So it’s not all bad news for Ogilvy. These rounds of firing could really just be performance based?
