Dietary supplement and vitamin brand Nutrilite appointed Digitas San Francisco as its U.S. agency of record, following a review.
The agency will be tasked with handling creative, creative strategy, tech, production, account and project management.
According to sources with direct knowledge of the matter, the review included Huge, iProspect, and Heat/Deloitte in its initial stages, in addition to Digitas. It’s unclear which of these agencies advanced to the final stages of the review.
Digitas will be tasked with creating multi-channel campaigns across North America, Latin America, EMEA and APAC. The agency will focus on reaching millenial audiences via digital transformation and social-first campaigns.
“This new partnership will bring a truly creative global perspective by tapping talent from Digitas and Publicis to ensure the Nutrilite brand continues to win as a global leader in healthy living,” Digitas San Francisco managing director Kingsley Taylor said in a statement. “We’ll create connected marketing experiences across capabilities and adapt them to the needs of individual markets.”
The size of the business is unclear at this time. Kantar Media has the company spending a negligible amount on paid media last year, but based on the review and the agencies involved it would seem Nutrilite plans to launch a major branding effort in the coming months.
