No Surprise: Old Spice Campaign Wins Emmy

In case you haven’t heard, over the weekend, the Creative Arts Primetime Emmys (almost like the regular Primetime Emmys, minus Jimmy Fallon’s incomparable comedic chops) were handed out. And wouldn’t you know, Wieden + Kennedy’s “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like” campaign for Old Spice took home the prize for Outstanding Commercial.

This marks the second win in a row in this category for W+K’s Portland office, which won last year for Coca-Cola’s “Heist.” In fact, W+K Portland earned three of six nominations for Outstanding Commercial at this year’s event, with the other spots being Nike’s “Human Chain” and Coca-Cola’s “Finals.”
