Bloomberg is reporting that Ed Whitacre’s GM will unveil a new ad tomorrow, possibly. The ad allegedly employs Chairman Whitacre, as Chrysler did with CEO Lee Iacocca in the 80s and Ford did with Bill Ford in 2002. As the article notes, both Chrysler and Ford used their company heads during times of financial duress for the automakers.
