Juliette Richey joins Movement Strategy as head of production.

Movement Strategy, a self-described social-led creative agency, has hired Juliette Richey as head of production to build out an internal production department to work with clients such as Warner Bros. and Estrella Jalisco.

Richey was previously director of content at Vice’s Carrot, which was folded into Virtue at the start of the year, overseeing content production for brands including Jaguar, Diageo and Clinique.

In her new role, she will be based in Movement Strategy’s New York headquarters but her work will also span its other two offices in Denver and Los Angeles.

The agency said its production department has already been in development over the past year and is responsible for more than 40 productions for clients Under Armour and Under Armour Basketball. Its first work was producing iPhone-style photo shoots for blog editorial content on Under Armour’s social media platforms.

Movement Strategy then developed the UA Challenge, which featured standout athletes across the brand’s channels, created Under Armour’s original content series Shoot Your Shot and Home Court and did “lifestyle shoots” for some of the brand’s product releases including in the Steph Curry shoe line and Misty Copeland collection.

Richey is now looking to bolster the team by bringing on additional producers and post-producers.
