McKinney, Baldwin& Vet Joins Clean as Co-Creative Director

Clean, a Raleigh, N.C.-based integrated marketing agency that counts Lenovo, Raleigh-Durham International Airport, Invisalign, Durham Distillery and UNC Kenan-Flagler among its clients, hired industry veteran Bob Ranew as co-creative director, effective July 9.

Ranew will oversee the agency’s creative department along with co-creative director Glen Fellman and report to partner, chief creative officer Scott Scaggs.

“Bob is one of the most awarded and inventive creative minds in the business today, whether it be his bearded founder look-alike street teams in ‘Find Your Burt’ for Burt’s Bees or creating the World’s Tastiest Coupon for Krispy Kreme,” Scaggs said in a statement. “Given his track record, he was the perfect choice to help in creating more powerful brand experiences for our clients.”

Ranew spent most of the past decade as executive creative director at Baldwin&, after co-founding the agency in 2009. Prior to that he spent nearly 15 years with McKinney, before leaving his position as a creative director to found Baldwin&. Over the course of his career he has worked with brands including Audi of America, Cree LED Lighting, Red Hat, BMW Golf, Long John Silver’s, Krispy Kreme and Burt’s Bees.
