Sims joins Madwell from GroupM, where she spent nearly a year as associate media director and digital strategy planning team lead on IBM Industry Marketing. Prior to GroupM, she spent two years as a freelance marketing consultant, working with clients such as Bayer Properties and Texas A&M.
“We all work hard, and my team deserves to have someone working with them to make things better, easier, and rewarding,” Sims said in a statement. “Personally, it’s also very important for me to be able to set an example for women, for them to know there isn’t a ‘right’ path or the ‘right’ way to do things. You have to choose your happy and find your strength.”
Sherman (pictured left) arrives at Madwell following around two years with the Atlanta office of AKQA as director of delivery. Prior to that she served a brief stint as director of production for Deep Focus, following around a year and a half as vice president, program management for Big Fuel Communications.
“Madwell has created amazing work over the past 8 years and is only getting stronger as we continue to take on more business and come up with even crazier ideas,” Sherman said in a statement. “I’m thrilled to be a part of this evolution, bringing additional rigor when needed and helping to challenge the status quo
in terms of what’s possible.”
