Lonely Girl 15’s Rebirth Brought to You in Part by: Douchebags

By Matt Van Hoven

If I suck today, it’s not for a lack of trying. It’s for a lack of energy, fluids and electrolytes in my system. I’ve got the stomach flu or food poisoning or something, and at about 4 a.m. last night, all hell broke loose.

But today I soldier on. Turns out, the 120 million viewers who watched the Lonely Girl 15 (LG15, to all us nerd-os) saga unfold online were enticing enough for CBS and to-be-named advertisers to sponsor a second run. (TVWeek)

This time, the show will be called “LG15: The Resistance.” We doubt it’ll have the same crack-like addictive qualities. And though said advertisers are being kept quiet, the show’s creators (web production company EQAL) have a cool $5 mil. at their disposal.

Check out the show’s creepy promo video, after the jump.

The first video is from ABC Family’s “Greek,” a watered down show about college life. LonelyGirl15 is the chick in the clip, aka “Jen K.”
