KBS Parts with Global CMO, Eliminates Position

By Erik Oster

KBS (formerly Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners) parted with its global chief marketing officer Jennifer Hohman nearly three months ago, an agency spokesperson confirmed today. The spokesperson clarified that KBS does not plan to fill the role, but rather will fold her responsibilities into existing agency teams.

Hohman joined KBS in the role in April of 2015, following serving in various roles with IPG Mediabrands, including global account management and managing partner for IPG Mediabrands North America and new business. Before that she spent a year and a half as senior vice president, group account director for MRM Worldwide. Prior to joining MRM worldwide she spent over a decade with OgilvyOne Worldwide, also serving as group account director. Over the course of her career she has worked with clients including Nationwide, Charles Schwab and Hershey’s.

Her predecessor in the KBS CMO role was Bill Grogan, who currently serves as global president of brands at the larger MDC Partners organization. He is also the husband of CP+B chief executive Lori Senecal.

News of Hohman’s departure follows a round of restructuring at the New York office of the MDC Partners shop back in August that led to some downsizing.

On the new business front, the agency won AOR duties for Red Robin at the start of July, following a review launched back in April. Stanley Black & Decker also consolidated its digital account with KBS in June.
