KBS Canada Adds Trio of Senior Hires

KBS Canada added three senior hires, appointing Pierre-Luc Paiement as managing director of KBS Montreal, Lorri MacDonald as vice president, client services for KBS Toronto and Laura Kim as executive creative director for KBS Toronto. 

“KBS Canada continues to build momentum and deeper bench strength,” KBS Canada president and CEO Nick Dean told Strategy. “Over the past six months, we’ve made operational changes that continue to drive business growth and fortify our agency now and into the future across both Toronto and Montreal. Canada is the second biggest market within the network and a major component of the overall KBS global development plan.”

Paiement will lead the Montreal office in partnership with executive creative director Sacha Ouimet. He joins KBS from Moment Factory, where he has served as director of marketing and communications since February of 2014. After beginning his career as an account executive at Cossette, he went client side as a marketing digital manager at Bose in November of 2008, leaving in February, 2011 to become marketing excellence manager at Bombardier Recreational Products.

Kim joins the agency from Sid Lee, where she has served as co-creative director since November of 2010, working across the agency’s Toronto Montreal and Amsterdam offices with clients including the NBA’s Toronto Raptors and Adidas. Before becoming co-creative director, she spent over seven years as an art director with Sid Lee. Prior to that she served in art director roles at Taxi, blueblancrouge and BBDO Montreal. 

MacDonald arrives from BBDO, where she has served as vice president, group account director since April of 2012, working primarily on the agency’s Visa account. Prior to that she spent nearly two and a half years as a group account director with Lowe Roche.
