Yep, SXSW Interactive is just around the corner (who’s sticking around for the Music portion?) and JWT is making its presence known by giving away Salt Lick, which they claim is the best BBQ in Texas. The agency’s reps will be repping in two BBQ trucks that will be roaming the Austin scene and parking outside the major parties. They even launched a dedicated site, which includes a “Truck Finder” Bing map (client, natch), blog posts, a tweet button to request food and a “Threat Meat-er” to let attendees of SXSWI know when the supply is running low. We’re guessing this will happen by Saturday.
The agency, which is forsaking actually throwing a party but seems to be catering for them, also hired four “Projection Men” who are armed with chest projectors and will be wandering the streets of Austin projecting animations. Will that make up for not throwing a jam?
