Jack Morton Makes 3 Key Hires in New York and Detroit

Jack Morton Worldwide expanded its U.S. team with three new hires in Detroit and New York, all effective immediately.

Cara O’Neill joins Jack Morton in Detroit as executive, vice president, group account director for the Chevrolet account. She arrives from GTB (formerly Team Detroit), where she has served as senior vice president, group account director since February of 2007, following two years as vice president, account director. Before joining what was then Team Detroit in early 2005, she spent over four years as a vice president, account director with BBDO, focusing on the agency’s Jeep and Chrysler accounts.

Creative director Russell J. Rinke also joins the agency in Detroit from GTB. There he spent over eleven years as vice president, associate creative director, working on Ford and Lincoln/Mercury.

ACD Hugo Burton comes to Jack Morton in New York from Sydney, Australia agency Traffik. He has served as a copywriter with Traffik for nearly two years, working with brands including Samsung, Visa, Dyson, Airbnb and Captain Morgan, following nearly three years as an art director and designer for the agency. Before joining Traffik he was an industrial designer for Powerhouse Museum.

The series of appointments follows the arrival of half a dozen new hires at the agency in June and the departure of New York president Rob McQueen in September.
