Isobar Promotes Fred Saldanha to CCO for Americas

By Erik Oster

Isobar announced today the promotion of Fred Saldanha to the newly-created role of chief creative officer for the Americas. Saldanha will remain based in São Paulo, traveling to the agency’s other offices while overseeing operations in North America in addition to Brazil. He will be responsible for overseeing the overall creative direction for the agency and working with key clients.

Saldanha has served as chief creative officer for Isobar Brazil for the past three years. He made the switch to the digital-focused agency following over five years with Ogilvy São Paulo, where he worked on global campaigns for clients including Coca-Cola, Unilever and Motorola.

“Appointing one chief creative officer across the Americas reflects our belief that in the digital world, traditional borders are really a thing of the past,” explained Isobar Global CEO Jean Lin. “In fact, cross-cultural insight and global thinking is at the core of success in the brand commerce era, where technology recognizes no barriers. Our daily mission at Isobar is to create Ideas Without Limits and Fred is the embodiment of that mission. We are excited to see his limitless vision brought to life across the Americas.”
