Huge, White House Launch ‘Heads Up America’

By Erik Oster

The White House teamed up with digital agency Huge to launch “Heads Up America,” a PSA campaign supporting President Obama‘s previously announced  College Promise proposal offering free access to two years of community college.

In an introductory 15-second spot, Obama is joined by a cast of celebrities, including Chris Rock, Louis C.K. and Reggie Watts. The group calls on viewers to “join the movement” for a “better, smarter America” at HeadsUpAmerica.us. Another PSA is more straightforward, featuring President Obama addressing viewers about increased demands for higher education, how College Promise can help and what they can do to be part of the movement. In addition to the PSA videos, the campaign also includes localized OOH elements in cities across the U.S. and localized campaign swag such as t-shirts and tote bags.
