Friday’s Illegal Ad: Dan Don’t Do Viral

“Dismal” might be a more apt term to attach to this ditty than “illegal” considering its protagonist’s slapdash attempts to make something viral. This 2 1/2 minute video is actually a call out for bedroom filmmakers to create a catchy spot all their own as part of a campaign for the UK’s national lottery.

While the obvious message points out how “viral” can often be misconstrued, the charming narrator invites amateurs to send a 300-word description and 1-minute video on the benefits of lottery funding to the contest site. A cat playing the piano is not recommended.
