Friday Odds and Ends

-George Hamilton is back in W+K Portland’s latest for KFC. And no, he can’t sing.

-You will not be surprised to learn that the ANA does not support any further restrictions on data gathering by such companies as Facebook.

-Maybe we won’t have to worry about that at all, because Zuckerberg’s company just changed the rules to make sure the new GDPR law doesn’t apply to some 1.5 billion users.

-So we all know 4/20 ads are really lame. But Havas Montreal made some pretty nutty ads for potting soil brand Mighty Blend.

-ICYMI, Erich and Kallman’s first spot for New Belgium Brewing stars a real Belgian.

-Also, the Nike “shoe therapy” campaign was based on a true story.

-We totally missed this Campaign roundup of female creatives based in the U.K.

-Ogilvy Montreal acquired Brad … the agency, not the guy.
