-IPG-owned Momentum Worldwide has hired G2 alum Laura Moser as SVP/shopper marketing practice lead in its Chicago office while promoting Elena Klau to SVP/director of strategy & insights in New York. Both Moser and Klau now join Momentum’s North American leadership team.

-Omnicom and Publicis have announced that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 has expired, clearing a hurdle for their merger deal. The two holding companies also announce that they’ve received approvals from regulatory authorities in Canada, India, and Turkey, which follow previously announced approvals from South Africa and South Korea. Now, it’s up to both Omnicom and Publicis shareholders. link; link
