(Ed’s note: ‘Great Balls of Comfort,’ Farrah Fawcett and cream make a great marketing combination, don’t they?)
AgAge’s Jack Neff made a good point a few months back when he pointed out that Noxzema was under appreciated by parent company P&G.
Today, we learned that P&G has sold the once uber-successful brand to Alberto-Culver Co., which also owns brands like Tresemme, Nexxus, St. Ives, VO5, and others.
Note that the entirety of the brand hasn’t been sold off — just the biz int he U.S., Canada and Latin America. But we all know Europeans don’t bathe anyway, so we feel Alberto Culver made the right choice.
Watch Joe Nameth get creamed, after the jump.
