Euro RSCG Goes on CEO Appointment Spree in Europe

By Kiran Aditham

We’ve barely heard a peep from Euro RSCG in the last couple of months in terms of staff shifts, but Havas Worldwide’s largest unit hit our inbox this morning with the announce that it’s made four key CEO appointments in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

The agency network didn’t have to look very far as it basically bumped up current execs including Euro RSCG MD Christian de La Villehuchet and Euro RSCG Central Europe CEO Andreas Geyr, who will now both take on the additional, newly created position of Euro RSCG Europe CEO. Meanwhile, 11-year Euro RSCG vet Ricardo Monteiro, CEO of the Portugal and Latin America units, was named CEO of Euro RSCG Ibero-America, also a newly created role.

Finally, Juan Rocamora, who joined Euro in 1997 and was CEO of JWT Spain prior to that, was named chairman of Euro RSCG Asia-Pacific.

The numerous appointments, as David Jones, global CEO of Havas Worldwide and Euro RSCG Worldwide, alludes to in a statement reflect Havas’ global growth in Q1 2010.
