Emiliano Gonzalez De Pietri Named CCO of McCann in Spain

Emiliano Gonzalez De Pietri has been named chief creative officer, McCann and chief creative integration officer, McCann Worldgroup in Spain.

As chief creative officer, Gonzalez De Pietri is charged with driving creativity and building a strong creative team. With the new role of chief creative integration officer, he will coordinate collaboration and creative integration between the network’s agencies in the local market—McCann Madrid, McCann Barcelona, MRM Spain, Craft Spain, Momentum Spain, McCann Health Spain and Futurebrand Spain.

Gonzalez De Pietri will work closely with Marina Specht, who was recently appointed CEO of McCann Worldgroup in Spain, and Adrian Botan, McCann Worldgroup’s chief creative officer in Europe. He succeeds Monica Moro, who is leaving the business at the end of March after 20 years.

Gonzalez De Pietri—a Spanish-Italian dual national—was previously global executive creative director at Grey. During his tenure, he worked in three continents and five countries, helping to establish Grey LATAM as Cannes Network of the Year two years in a row. Under his leadership, Grey Colombia won the Product Design Grand Prix Lion with Payphone Bank, and Grey Canada won a Glass Lion for Gillette’s First Shave.
