Droga5 Named Creative and Media AOR for Biofreeze

Biofreeze, a line of pain relief creams, gels and sprays, has named Droga5 its creative and media agency of record.

According to the brand, Droga5, which was acquired by Accenture earlier this year, will be responsible for infusing creative and brand strategy with media planning duties.

“We initially came to Droga5 for their creative prowess, but after learning more about their breadth of capabilities, we now view them as a true business partner in all aspects of our brand’s marketing,” Michael McGoohan, chief marketing officer at Biofreeze, said in a statement. “We are excited about the opportunities we have to elevate our brand’s positioning and are energized by the partnership with our world-class team at Droga5.”

Droga5’s first work for the brand is expected to debut in early 2020. The Many previously handled creative for Biofreeze, while 360i handled media.

“Biofreeze has a lot of momentum and strong affinity among a growing base of consumers, and we’re excited to help drive their business and cultural impact by bringing media and creative even more closely together,” Dan Gonda, managing director of Droga5, said in a statement.
