Droga5 has made changes to its communications leadership team with the promotions of three agency veterans.

Colleen Leddy (pictured, center) was promoted to the role of chief media officer, following around four and a half years as head of communications strategy, and will be tasked with fueling future agency growth through media strategy, while ensuring media strategy is aligned with brand and data strategy. Leddy first joined Droga5 as group communications strategy leader in 2013, following nearly two years as strategy director for BBH, focusing on the Google Chrome, Google Small Business, Cole Haan, The Guardian and Qui Tequila accounts.

Marianne Stefanowicz (pictured, left) was promoted to chief communications officer, tasked with leading the agency’s communications goals, ensuring effective development and implementation of PR strategy. Stefanowicz first joined Droga5 as global head of PR and communications in June of 2015, following over three years with TBWA\Wordlwide, as worldwide PR and communications director and then global head of communications.

Dean Challis (pictured, right) will now serve as head of communications strategy, tasked with overseeing the department and ensuring it is leveraged strategically for clients. Prior to joining Droga5 in June of 2016 as group communications strategy director, he spent nearly a decade with MediaCom, most recently serving as global strategy director, leading the global Dell account.

“Droga5 is in the business of creative problem-solving, and as the systems in which we’re able to create real connections and drive results get more complex, we need strong leaders and change agents guiding our communications and media capabilities,” Droga5 global chief strategy officer Jonny Bauer said in a statement. “With Colleen, Dean and Marianne at the helm, I am excited and energized by what the future will hold as we continue to collaborate, create and solve for clients,” said Jonny Bauer, Global Chief Strategy Officer at Droga5.”

The appointments follow the news last week that Kraft Heinz sent its Kraft Mac and Cheese and Philadelphia Cream Cheese creative accounts to Droga5 without a review.
