DNA Welcomes 20-Year Industry Vet as Chief Strategy Officer

Independent, Seattle-based agency DNA hired 20-year industry veteran Christine Wise as chief strategy officer.

In the position, Wise will become part of DNA’s senior management and executive leadership team, while overseeing the agency’s brand strategy, communications strategy and data strategy practices.

“Christine is a proven entrepreneur and marketing innovator that brings DNA new ways to evolve our structure and offering to better deliver creative building business solutions to our clients,” DNA president and chief growth officer Chris Witherspoon, who was promoted to that role last December, said in a statement. “I’ve worked with Christine and know that she will have a valuable and lasting imprint on our agency.”


Wise arrives at the agency following nearly 10 years with the recently closed Wexley School for Girls, most recently as partner, director of planning and strategy. During her tenure at Wexley School for Girls she worked with such clients as Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, Blizzard Games, Seattle Seahawks, Coinstar, Naked Juice, Oberto, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Seattle Sounders, Sparking Ice and Value Village. Before joining Wexley, she spent two years with Publicis West as principal, senior account planner and a member of the senior new business team that helped bring in Safeco Insurance, Seattle Seahawks and Emerald Downs.
