I was just talking about how advertiser’s keep trying to distract us from what their product does with these ridiculous “bells and whistles” type commercials, and then I see this ad- JWT’s new ad for Stride Gum and how “long lasting” it is.
Got it, the gum is so long lasting that unless one is reminded to chew a fresh piece they won’t. But I’m not sure that threatening me with fisticuffs is the way you should go about it.
Luckily for Stride, I chew Orbit gum or those jokers would hear me utter the words, “Bring it on!”. I am way too exhausted from my way too long day to get into this lengthy monologue about what things I find wrong with this commercial. So I won’t. Suffice it to say that the message intended was heard. I guess they hit their mark?
