Deep Focus Names New CMO

Deep Focus appointed Christine Huang as its new chief marketing officer,  responsible for all marketing and business development operations in the U.S. She will work closely with Zoe Church, chief marketing officer of Deep Focus’ parent company Engine Group and report directly to founder and global chairman Ian Schafer.

Huang arrives at the agency with over fifteen years of experience, most recently working as a consultant for agencies including Venables Bell & Partners, Berlin Cameron United, Palisades Media Group and Ignited Minds. Prior to that she served as head of business development for BBH New York, where led pitching efforts to win agency of record for Cadillac. Before that she served as chief marketing officer for Maiden Lane Inc. for over two and a half years, where she added interactive, media, and account planning departments to the agency and led pitches to win accounts including Del Monte, Woodbridge Wines, Round Table Pizza and The Michelin Guides. She also spent around three years with Deutsch, as associate director, business development; starting in the New York office where she managed winning pitches for Domino’s Pizza and Pfizer’s Zyrtec and Zoloft brands, before heading to Los Angeles and leading a new business streak that included NFL Sunday Ticket, DIRECTV, Real California Cheese and Expedia.
