Crispin Loses Writer to Agency With Difficult Name to Pronounce

Pereira & O’Dell, an ad agency I hope I never have to say out loud for fear of massacring it (pear-e-air-a?) have poached Crispin Porter & Bogusky’s Joel Kaplan.

At P&O, Kaplan will play Sr. Writer. He previously worked on the Burger King account, most notably Whopper Sacrifice. AKQA was his home before that. Pear-e-air-a is located in San Fran Sis Co.

Say the whole name a few times, really fast Joel. Say goodbye to the darling agency.
